Superior Design = Performance
The foundation of each Sterling ski is its structural design, which is as much art as it is science. Because we believe ski design is the top indicator of performance, Sterling implemented a multi-tiered design protocol. Utilizing the latest in computer modeling, we scientifically designed the parameters of our ski: the right geometry, the precise dynamics and the optimal weight. Our computer and mechanical laboratory analyses optimized its flex, stiffness and dampening.
Once our extensive testing was completed, the art of the human experience was used to bring the skis alive: Sterling’s expert head designer fine-tuned the ski’s responsiveness, control and smoothness. Demos and further design modifications were executed until we achieved the perfect ski performance.
